Proverbs 31 Woman
We are a global ministry that preach and teach the undiluted word of God without fear. We have been called to serve one another in love. We build each other up and embrace uniqueness, and never judge. We choose to see each other with and through the eye of God's love, regardless of their background, ethnicity or nationality. We create a safe place for people to Know Jesus, Love Jesus, Serve Jesus.
Objective
To initiate, strengthen and streamline all programs and services that advocate for sustainable business which promote good standards of living of women and children of the Christian Faith.
To promote social and economic development and empowerment of women and children of the Christian Faith.
To counsel and create support systems for them to realize their gifts and talents.
To raise awareness on issues that may be a hindrance stopping them from realizing their dreams
Our Values
People! Every person counts. There are no outcasts or elite. God is drawing all people to Himself, so discerning and cooperating with what God is already doing is our strategy and our privilege. Each one of us has been equipped with a gift that compliments someone else’s gift. Therefore we need each other to function to our full capacity.
Honesty! We are all broken. God knows it. Why hide it. Being real and authentic with Him and others creates a safe place where we can say how we are really doing. Being open and honest also creates a platform to be empowered and to receive the support that we all need
Excellence! We want to give God our best. We work hard for quality in everything we do. It’s a privilege to spend our lives co-laboring with God, serving with Him and for Him.
Community! We strive to welcome and treat others the way we would want to be welcomed and treated. Matthew 7:12 Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.
Our Beliefs
We believe in the one true God, the source of all life, who reigns over all things as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and lovingly cares for all creation. God the Father planned the redemption of humanity and sent Jesus Christ the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Jesus proclaimed the reign of God, bringing good news to the poor and triumphing over sin through his obedient life, death, and resurrection. God the Holy Spirit empowers believers with new life, indwells them, and unites them in one body.
All Scripture is inspired by God and is the authoritative guide for faith and practice. We interpret Scripture in the church community as guided by the Holy Spirit.
We believe God saves all people who put their faith in Jesus Christ. Through his obedient life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection, Christ delivers people from the tyranny of sin and death and redeems them for eternal life in the age to come. All creation eagerly awaits its liberation from bondage into the freedom of the glory of God’s children.
We believe the mission of the church is to make disciples of all nations by calling people to repent, be baptized, and love God and neighbor by sharing the good news and performing acts of love and compassion.
We believe Jesus calls people who have experienced the new birth to follow him in a costly life of service to God. The power of the Holy Spirit transforms believers from the unrighteous pattern of the present age into a life of joyful obedience with God’s people.
Our Vision
Proverbs 31 Woman was started on 12 September 2012. The Proverbs 31 Woman group vision is to preach the word of God to everyone all over the world as our Lord and saviour commanded us in Mark 15-16 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
(Habakkuk 2:2 Then the LORD replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.) Our purpose is to serve God and model the behaviour of a woman set apart for God’s Kingdom. Our aim is to lead the women in church the true discipleship of Christ by modelling the person of Jesus Christ. The foundation of our ministry is love. We understand that when we understand love as described in 2 Corinthians 13:4-8, we will all live in peace not only with ourselves but with people around us.
Our plan is...
• To promote unity and love amongst women in the body of Christ.
• To see the best in everyone and magnify their strengths and bring out their true identity.
• Counselling women going through tough times and maintaining confidentiality.
• To help build self confidence in the women on our platform and support them bring to bring out their strengths and skills that could have been overshadowed by negativity and or pain inflicted on them in their journey of life.
• To model good character and communication skills.
• Promoting unity amongst women/families.
• Covering one another and not exposing each other’s weakness.
Our ultimate goal is to be able to have women all over the world joining in the love revolution, restoring confidence in women thereby enabling them to better their lives by using their hidden skills and defeating fear and or stigmas that are associated with different groups of women i.e. widows, divorced, single women etc.
